Shipping Policy

All orders are processed within 3 to 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

With batteries and controllers on pre-order – the time for delivery will be made clear to you when we receive pre-order deposit. Please note that sometimes manufacturing delays and shipping issues can delay an estimate delivery time. You will always be notified to the best of our ability and we will always overestimate and not underestimate any pre -order delivery time.

Shipping Rates and Estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. In some cases, custom shipping quotes will be required and a direct email will be sent with shipping options.

As all of our batteries are shipped charged and tested. Shipping on all battery orders and pre-orders are handled directly by us. As a result, we cannot provide you with an immediate shipping quote. However, our dedicated staff will be in contact with you throughout the process and will keep you informed.

In Store Pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our Ottawa office. For all battery orders and pre-orders, we will contact you directly when they are available for pick-up.

For all other items, after placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 2 to 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. Pre-Orders for local pick-up will be notified when the unit arrives and charging and testing has been completed.

Our in-store pickup hours are 10am to 4pm on Monday to Thursday . Pickup times outside of these hours available by request. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

How Do I Check Order Status?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within 14 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@chargedcycles.ca with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Return Policy

ChargedCycles.ca will allow a refund where you have changed your mind, provided that you let us know within 2 business days and pay return shipping. A 15% restocking fee will apply. All pre-orders are subject to a 20% cancellation fee. All electronic components are exempt from this and considered final sale, this includes motors and controllers.

ChargedCycles.ca will allow a return for store credit or exchange product where you have changed your mind less a return fee on a case by case basis, provided that the item in question is:

returned within 5 days of receiving order at buyers expense;
as new and is not used;
in a resalable condition; and
not damaged in any way

Electronic components and controllers are non-refundable and considered final sale item. If there is a defect, the component is covered by the manufacturers warranty.

At any time, products may have running changes to construction, features and options. ChargedCycles.ca is not responsible for these changes and does not exchange products because a new or modified version has entered the market. The electric bike market is evolving rapidly and manufacturers are constantly making improvements to better their product.

Please note, with batteries once you have charged them they are not in the same state as you received them and will be considered used, so you cannot receive a full refund unless the product is not fit for purpose.

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@ChargedCycles.ca with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
